- Waking up to the temperature being 59 degress outside. Granted, it's 92 outside now but my run this morning felt great in the "brisk" air.
- A 4 day work week this week and next week! Derrick and I are heading to Florida on Friday for his mom's 50th birthday and then that Monday the kids have off and I have conferences, but I still consider that to be a 4 day week.
- The fact that tomorrow ill be day #30 of school - holy cow. This year is already flying by!
- Making pierogies today. Yes, it took me almost 3 hours to roll out of the dough, stuff them, fold them, pinch them, and boil them but in the end it was well worth it. I think I have about 75 so I will eat half and freeze half for another day:)
- Mia went to Groomingdales yesterday (yes, it is her spa day and it makes me laugh) and got a sweet little cut. We are trying to grow her out again and have done pretty well with no mats. The groomer forgot to brush out her front 2 paws though and underside so we are taking her back on Tuesday to get fixed. She still looks presh
- For anyone that knows me, I'm stinky person. More recently though it has gotten worse! I have tried almost every deoderant and all them still allow my smell to break through. I was using men's Old Spice but then I found this deoderant and let me tell you - I can go almost 2 full day without showering (weekends people... if I shower early Friday morning I might not shower again till Saturday night if I don't have anything to do) and I won't even have a hint of smell! This is big!! Remember, it is still 90-100 here so if I'm not smelling... you wouldn't be either.
- The new Vera Bradley catalog. Oh.em.gee. I want it all. The new patterns are fantastic and I love the new styles of bags. Please let Santa (or Derrick) be good to me! PS... it makes me laugh because the catalog is addressed to Derrick since he orders more than I do.
- My new boots from Target. I needed new black ones and these are kind of casual, kind of dressy, totally cute. (and only $35!)
- My new running skirt. I'm addicted to buying work out clothes. Like beyond addicted. And we have this amazing shop here called Betty Sport that I LOVE!! It is only for women and full of trendy running clothes. I got this skirt from a Groupon, $20 for $40, and the skirt was only $40! It's flat front in the in front and pleated in the back with tennis ball yellow shorts underneath. Loving it!
- Me Target Dollar bin purchase. Each tin was a dollar and I think the colors are cute and fall-y. I used to have glass hurricanes filled with coffee beans and the candles so I just swapped them out. A simple $3 change for fall:)
My new eyeliner. I used to be a liquid girl because pencils bled on my greasy skin but I hated the exact definition from it. So, I bought 2 different pencils and this one is by far my favorite. The other one broke a ton and I felt like I wasted so much. This is a chunky pencil, goes on sooo smooth and easily, and easily washes off. L-O-V-E. It's Covergirl Liquiline Blast
- My Halloween skirt for school. I found this in the little girl's section, got an XL, for $12.99. It is a black tutu skirt with silver metallic stars. I have a pair of purple and black striped tights and will wear a witch's hat for the parade them switch over to my black, white, orange, and purple striped awesome headband from the dollar bin at Target. I'll be a cute witch:)
It's a lot, I know. Hope you got some ideas from my current loves:)
